Yin is a functional style of yoga. The floor based postures specifically encourage mobility and flexibility and nourish into your joints, spine & the connective tissues of your whole body as well as increasing your overall sense of well-being. Yin/Yang includes both yin postures as well as asanas to strengthen the body and improve balance.
Please join us at Mountain Spirit, a Secluded Sanctuary. Our yoga studio is in a light-filled yurt, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by the sounds of nature on the Hawea Back Road. All levels of ability are welcome.
With our attention mostly turned outwards in these busy modern times, the practice of Yin yoga invites you to find balance and create space by bringing your attention inwards and tuning into your body.
