You're close enough to enjoy Wānaka whenever you want, but when you return home you're back in the peace and quiet of rural Hawea Flat.
Lake Hāwea is nearby, with restaurants, a well-stocked local store and easy access to the lake.
The surrounding area offers an extraordinary choice of walking, hiking, cycling and outdoor adventures.

And There's One Local Resident...
Our friendly house cat may be part of the experience!
If you love cats, you'll probably make a friend very quickly.
If the tenant is expected to feed the cat, but if you're taking off for a day or more, our good friend and neighbor is on the ready to feed the cat while you're out. Of course the meals are on us.
Our cat lives here and comes and goes as she pleases. You're welcome to enjoy her company, .

Because this is an international long-stay rental, we'll arrange a written agreement and require suitable references before confirming the booking.

Planning to Stay for Six Months?
International visitors are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa or entry permission for their intended stay in New Zealand.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and circumstances.
For example, visitors entering under New Zealand's visa-waiver arrangements are generally permitted up to 3 months, or 6 months for UK citizens, while a Visitor Visa can allow a stay of up to 6 or 9 months depending on the visa granted.
Please check your individual requirements with Immigration New Zealand before committing to a six-month rental.
