 The spaces are beautiful, with valley views and quiet,  relatively flat, (Some small leveling ramps or jacks might be helpful but not necessary) without amenities, so you'll have to be self contained, per usual NZMGA standards. NOTE: There is a ford/dip on Hawea Back Road, depending upon conditions, there may be a bit of water, and/or bumpy surface and going fast wouldn't be do for your car or rig. There is also a small ford/dip before reaching our driveway, Sometimes the dip will either have water and/or have a bump or two in it. because of that,  we limit to motorhomes and caravans that are mid to small sized which will have no problem.  Please give us call prior to booking or arriving. 02041112668
 

Breakfast anyone?

We offer an optional home-cooked breakfast of freshly baked bread right out of the oven, apricot jam/butter, and my own special scrambled eggs from our chickens, $20/pers delivered right to your door. Just let us know if you're interested.

We're thoroughly enjoying hosting POP, which is a recent addition to our BnB and retreats,  and look forward seeing you soon.

ARRIVAL INFO:
I usually pop down on my E-Bike to the site to greet you, and show you where to park. As you enter our gate, please look for pink flagging marking the mowed parking area. It's on the immediate LEFT side of the drive after the our gate.  Feel free to do a wide arc arc across the grass, as a LEFT hand turn on the grass could be tight for some vehicles
 

DIRECTIONS:

From the Southwest (Wanaka/Crown Range Road/Queenstown):

FROM WANAKA
THIS IS A BIT MORE SCENIC AND A BIT LONGER BY 3KM. THE MORE DIRECT ROUTE IS EXPLAINED ON THE BELOW
From Junction of Wanaka Luggate Hwy and Albert Town Makarora/Haast Hiway 6, head east on Hiway 6 toward Morris Road for 8.4 KM. Take a slight left onto Hiway 8A then go for 2.2km (it turns left and crosses the red bridge). Continue straight onto Kane Rd, (going past the 8A right hand turn off) and go for 7.8km., turn right onto Hawea Back Road and go for 2.5km till the mailboxes at the dogleg/bend in the road, and an “island of mailboxes” turn sharp right up the lane (with the tall pine trees overhead),for 500m, over a river ford again,  and, once back up on the fields again,  look for our gate on left, with #250 on it.
FROM WANAKA  Via Haast Highway:
Coming from Wanaka via Haast Hiway, Travel west from Albertown for about 8 or 9k, and look for Camphill Road on the right, after turning right onto Camphill travel until St. Ninian’s Way at the Hawea Flat Hall, and turn right, joining onto Kane Road, go past the windmill, where the road bends left, and where the road bends right up the hill, turn left onto Hawea Back Road.  and go for 2.5km till the mailboxes at the dogleg/bend in the road, and an “island of mailboxes” turn sharp right up the lane (with the tall pine trees overhead),for 500m, over a river ford again,  and, once back up on the fields again,  look for our gate on left, with #250 on it.

From Mt. Cook/Tarras: 
When the Luggate Tarras Rd (8A) turns a sharp left t, Turn right onto Kane Rd, and go for 7.8km. Turn right onto Hawea Back Road and go for 2.5km till the turn right onto Hawea Back Road and go for 2.5km till at the dogleg/bend in the road, and an “island of mailboxes” turn sharp right up the lane (with the tall pine trees overhead),for 500m, over a river ford again,  and, once back up on the fields again,  look for our gate on left, with #250 on it.
From the North: 

Turn onto Take Capell Ave from Hiway 6 (Lake Hawea Makaroa Hiway) and cross the dam then uphill, Turns into Lakeview Terrace (all together 2.8km), turns right and becomes Muir Rd (go for 950m).  Turn left onto Cemetery Road (go for 800m to intersection), and continue straight onto Gray Rd (travel 1.6 km). Turn right onto Hawea Back Road for 3.1km. At the island of mailboxes, HBR turns right but continue straight up lane (with the tall pine trees) instead, for 650m, crossing a small river ford, and once up onto the fields again, look for our gate on left, with #250 on it.
NOTE: Please don't use Apple Maps nor GPS, but Google Maps. The former two will lead you astray, the latter, gets you here directly.
