Yin YOGA is a passive practice, involving DEEP STRETCHES held for an average of 3-5 minutes, benefitting the CONNECTIVE TISSUES of your body.  A functional style of yoga, the floor based postures specifically encourage mobility and flexibility and nourish into your joints, spine & the connective tissues of your whole body as well as increasing your overall sense of well-being.  Enjoy long deep stretches that can release both mental and physical tension to nurture your body and mind.

Join us at Mountain Spirit, a Secluded Sanctuary.  Our yoga studio is in a light-filled yurt, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by the sounds of nature on the Hawea Back Road. All levels of ability are welcome.
 

 

With our attention mostly turned outwards in these busy modern times, the practice of Yin yoga invites you to find balance and create space by bringing your attention inwards and tuning into your body.

In these busy modern times, slowing down, becoming still and paying attention to our inner world is like medicine for the body, heart, mind and soul.
 
Be nurtured and nourished through the practices of an extended yin yoga session (2hours), guided meditation & journaling, breath-work,  and walking in nature (barefeet optional).

Homemade, home-grown organic lunch, snacks and teas included.

Private classes - solo

If you haven't tried yoga before, a private class will introduce you to the poses, with personalised modifications and props specific to your needs or goals. In your own time at home or here in our yurt studio. $70 per session  

 

Private classes /day retreats- group

Be nurtured and nourished through the practices of yoga, meditation, breath work.  Your time and your space. Get in touch and we can tailor a unique experience for you. Birthday & anniversary celebrations, wedding parties, sports events, girls weekends, reunions - gather a group of friends together and we can create a mini retreat experience specifically for you and your schedule. Fully catered options, can include sailing, hiking, yoga, meditation, journalling, vision boarding, sweat lodge etc.
