"The class we did for backs released my 20+years chronically tight right psoas" Jos M

"I haven't slept this well in years" Tom  S

"I love my Wednesday morning Yin practice with Amanda. Not only do I feel taller when I leave, the practice of 90 minutes goes so quickly. Each pose is like a mini meditation which leaves me feeling energised for my day' Sarah M

Yin YOGA is a passive practice, involving DEEP STRETCHES held for an average of 3-5 minutes, benefitting the CONNECTIVE TISSUES of your body.  A functional style of yoga, the floor based postures specifically encourage mobility and flexibility and nourish into your joints, spine & the connective tissues of your whole body as well as increasing your overall sense of well-being.  Enjoy long deep stretches that can release both mental and physical tension to nurture your body and mind.

Join us at Mountain Spirit, a Secluded Sanctuary.  Our yoga studio is in a light-filled yurt, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by the sounds of nature on the Hawea Back Road. All levels of ability are welcome.

With our attention mostly turned outwards in these busy modern times, the practice of Yin yoga invites you to find balance and create space by bringing your attention inwards and tuning into your body.
