Not too long ago we were in lockdowns, mandates and a divided nation. Some say Kiwi's are feeling the aftereffects of trauma from that difficult time. And let's face it, - It's not really a cakewalk at the moment - people are stressed.  Music can help heal that divide and reach people in unique ways. Of course, if you're reading this, and you're a free thinking muso, we're preaching to the choir.

New Zealand became one of the newest chapters of Jam For Freedom early in 2024..
We have big plans and need your help. Not only do we need muso's but we want to organise some cool events on the north and south islands.

 

Also a road tour is in the works, a traveling Jam For Freedom roadshow, based on Coffeehouses I used to run in the states - a volunteer concert series where the audience is trained to listen to the performer. For starters we'll be on the road on the South Island, then head north at some point. . 
We've not had our inaugural event/s (North and South Islands) yet so anyone want to get involved?  Let's roll up sleeves, get planning and get ready to play.  If you want to take an active role in helping launch Jam For Freedom New Zealand and even taking the reins as part of a steering group, get in touch!
